Wedding portraits in Norway

The place is situated about 1100 meters above sea level, hovering 700 metres above lake Ringedalsvatnet. From the very top you can indulge in the dramatic fjord landscape and enjoy the view towards the glacier Folgefonna. The feeling when standing, perhaps sitting out there (I did it) at the tip, almost floating between the sky and the water, an almost surreal and unforgettable feeling.

Hike with wedding couple

I saw this place in 2013, when I was planning my trip to Preikestolen (the other great place in Norway), but in that time Trolltunga was unavailable. In June 2016 it came true with the amazing couple – Zofia and Yarko. It took around 8 hours to get there (23 km in total to Trolltunga and return).  We got lost and we hiked 2-3 hours by night, but we did it. The view was breathtaking, especially because we were first human being over there that day (about 3:30 am).

Wedding photography in Trolltunga

We started taking pictures around 9 a.m. because of the fog. The session took around 30 minutes – yeah, not so much after 8 hours hike. Then we stopped and took a rest. Around 3 p.m. we did it again. Now, I am one of a few photographers in the world who took a wedding photo session in Trolltunga.
